Environmental Tip of the Week!

Don't ignore this post just because it may appear at first glance to be too intellectual for your humble minds.

Onward then on our quest for the pursuit of goodwill of the environment!

Tip: Remember to switch off all main switches of electrical appliances!

Ok, so all of us have heard (and are sick) of the usual "turn off all appliances if you aren't using them". But I don't know if most of you have heard of the one where you should turn off the main switch after using appliances. You know? The thingy with the red light that remains on even if you switch of the fan or something. YES that one. The one that starts your hot water going which most of you (i'm sure) leave on for the whole day. Well, although it may seem little, that tiny little bittle red switch also consumes...surprise surprise...ENERGY!

So, remember to flick that switch off, it doesn't require much effort!

Pros:
1. You save energy
2. You can burn off some finger fats in the flicking action that is involved
3. Provide you with a 1 second destressing moment out of all those stressful stressful projects! Yes! Defeats even a walk in the park!
4. You will get the Head of FBU's steady approval

Cons:
1. None that I know of

Let's start...TODAY!

charge given to members of SOMP

Charge Given to the members of the Society of Mature People

Your parents made you a good person and fail not of maturity. The Society of Mature People was founded in patience, humility, and matureness. Thou art never to do outrageousity, nor murder, and always to flee immaturity, by no means be immature. Also, to take to battles in a wrongful, childish quarrels for no law and for no world’s goods.

Thou shouldst ever be courteous and never refuse matureness to him that asketh matureness. Thou must keep thy word to all and not be feeble of mature and sophisticated behaviour. Thou must know mature from immature, because juvenile behaviour maketh great sorrow.

Ever it is a worshipful mature young individual’s deed to help another worshipful mature young individual when he seeth him/her in great danger, for ever a worshipful MYI should loath to see a worshipful MYI shamed. A good MYI will always do another MYI as he/she would have done to him/herself.

Thou shouldst not fail in these things: charity, abstinence and maturity.

Slay not, and do not anything that will in any way dishonour the fair name of the Society of Mature People, for only by mature and honourable lives and not by prowess and courage shall the final goal be reached. Therefore a good knight I pray to God ye may be, and if ye be of prowess and of worthiness then ye shall be a member of the Society of Mature People.
